Birdwatching at Montijo Beach in Chipiona in the scorching summer heat

On this extremely hot day, with temperatures rising up to forty degrees, the only spot I could go to to go birdwatching had to be near the beach. Today's destination was Montijo beach between Chipiona and Sanlucar. The tide was high when I arrived, which allowed me to get quite close to the birds, or should I say, it forced the birds to get close to the shore. Of course there were mainly waders. I was happy to see a dozen of foraging Oystercatchers.

Not the ideal conditions to go birdwatching today, but fortunately I got back home with some decent photographs.
